1-10-2020<\/span><\/p>\n The Organizing Committee of the \u201cBLUECOAST\u201d is pleased to announce that the Open digital photography exhibition \u201cBLUE CULTURE\u201d is available online, on <\/span>http:\/\/blueculturehub.nmp-zak.org<\/span><\/a>. The initiative was organized in the framework of the project <\/span>\u201cClimate-Smart Coastal Practices for Blue Governance\u201d-BLUECOAST, funded by the Interreg IPA CBC Cross-Border Cooperation Programme \u201cGreece \u2013 Albania 2014 \u2013 2020\u201d<\/span>. You will find details of the project at <\/span>http:\/\/bluecoast-cbc.eu\/<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The Exhibition theme was \u201cBlue Culture\u201d of the cross-border area of Greece and Albania, focusing on Zakynthos and Himara. The two countries were bridged on the occasion of this unique exhibition, dedicated to the beauty and mystery of sea life, the coastal and island heritage, the promotion of the primordial connection of human with the sea. The exhibition seeks to inspire society in the direction of Sustainable Development of the marine and coastal environment, emphasizing our common responsibility for the preservation of the bioenvironment and the mobilization of every concerned citizen and the wider society.<\/span><\/p>\n The exhibition received 183 inspiring storytelling entries from both Greece and Albania. Efraimiadou \u2013 HORIZON, Center of Research, Technology and Innovation, Flag Pine NGO (A. Hasko\u00e7ela, L. Sadikllari), Stephie Grape, Hellenic Ornithological Society (A. Christidis, J. Fric, M. Kotsakis, P. Latsoudis, A. Sakoulis, L. Simitzi, R. Trigou), Helmis Natural History Museum of Zakynthos (P. Chelmis, K. Stoupathis), Hermes Productions (S. Kakoliris – A. Gkinakou), K. Karditsa \u2013 National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, N. Meniko \u2013 Himara Seas The Day, Management Agency of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos (C. Dimitriadis, E. Kalli, L. Sourbes, A.T. Valli), S. Petrakis \u2013 Hellenic Oceanographers\u2019 Association, Regional Administration of Protected Areas\/Vlora Region\/Albania (O. \u00c7eloaliaj, N. Hysolakoj, A. Seferi), G. Skoufas, A. Visvardis \u2013 Environmental Education Center of Lithakia Zakynthos, R. Xhelilaj \u2013 Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage Vlore.<\/span><\/p>\n The continuity of the Digital Photography Exhibition includes the dissemination of 800 printed copies of some of the entries to various networks and their permanent exposure in different public locations of Greece and Albania.
